The Petzl ASAP® is a professional grade mobile fall arrester providing constant, hands-free fall protection on vertical, horizontal, or angled rope. Its toothed locking wheel automatically blocks falls and uncontrolled descents exceeding two metres per second, even if the device is grabbed during a fall, and remains effective on frozen or dirty ropes. Easy to install and remove at any point on the rope, it moves freely up or down without any manual operation. Used in combination with an ASAP'SORBER 20 or 40 energy absorber it supports users up to 140 kg, and with the ASAP'SORBER AXESS it supports two-person rescue scenarios up to 250 kg. The ASAP is also available in pre-assembled, ready-to-use kits with compatible energy absorbers and connectors.
