The Petzl VIZIR is a transparent polycarbonate eye shield designed to provide superior protection against projectile hazards for professionals working in industrial and outdoor environments. Featuring both scratch resistant and anti fog coatings, this shield ensures clear visibility in demanding conditions whilst allowing prescription glasses to be worn comfortably underneath. Compatible with VERTEX and STRATO helmets manufactured from 2019 onwards, the VIZIR uses the innovative EASYCLIP attachment system for rapid installation and effortless pivoting between the active work position and storage position atop the helmet. Certified to CE EN/ISO 16321 1, ANSI Z87.1, EAC, and GB 32166.1 standards, this lightweight 80 g accessory combines durability and functionality to enhance worker safety across construction, utilities, forestry, and industrial maintenance applications.
