The Petzl ASAP® LOCK is a professional mobile fall arrester for rope, designed to stop falls and uncontrolled descents that exceed two metres per second. It travels freely along the rope during normal use with no manual operation required, and locks instantly even if grabbed during a fall, on vertical, horizontal, or angled rope.

The integrated LOCK function allows the user to immobilise the device to reduce potential fall distance and keep the rope from being blown upward in very windy conditions. Compatible with ASAP'SORBER AXESS for two-person rescue up to 250 kg, and ASAP'SORBER 20/40 for users up to 140 kg, it is also available in pre-assembled kits with OK TRIACT-LOCK or Bm'D TRIACT-LOCK connectors for a ready-to-use solution.
