The Petzl AVAO FAST European Version is a full-body harness for fall arrest, work positioning and rope access. Padded shoulder straps, a semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide support and comfort while working at height.

Certified to CE EN 361, EN 813 and EN 358, the harness has sternal and dorsal attachment points for fall arrest, a ventral point for descent and lateral points for work positioning. The rear waistbelt attachment point is for a restraint lanyard.

DOUBLEBACK buckles adjust the shoulder straps and waistbelt, while FAST opening buckles on the leg loops make fitting easier. Five equipment loops and two slots for CARITOOL tool holders or the INTERFAST connection system help organise equipment. Available in sizes 0, 1 and 2, in Black/Yellow or Black.

Petzl AVAO FAST European Version size guide

Petzl sizes 0, 1 and 2 refer to different adjustment ranges. Choose using waist circumference, thigh circumference and height rather than assuming they correspond to Small, Medium and Large. The same measurements apply to Black/Yellow and Black versions.

Petzl size	Waist circumference	Thigh circumference	Height
0	65–80 cm	44–59 cm	160–180 cm
1	70–93 cm	47–62 cm	165–185 cm
2	83–120 cm	50–65 cm	175–200 cm

The size ranges overlap. Check all three measurements and confirm the harness fits and adjusts correctly, following Petzl’s fitting instructions.

Measurements apply to references C071BB00–C071BB05. View Petzl’s manufacturer specifications and fitting instructions.
