Petzl helmets
The VERTEX VENT is the most widely used professional work-at-height helmet in Ireland, offering ventilation, headlamp compatibility, and PPE-rated side impact protection to EN 397 and EN 12492. The lightweight STRATO VENT suits long shifts where comfort matters. Both integrate directly with Petzl's ADAPT headlamp mounting system.
Petzl head torches
For professionals, Petzl's reactive lighting technology sets the SWIFT RL and ACTIK CORE apart from consumer torches. The SWIFT RL delivers up to 1,100 lumens and automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient light, extending battery life without manual adjustment — essential during extended operations in variable conditions.
Petzl descenders, ascenders and rope access systems
The ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS are Petzl's dedicated arborist descenders, designed for climbing with a doubled-rope technique and compatible with the CHICANE friction adjuster. For rope access, the I'D descender and STOP fall-arrest descender are EN 341 and EN 12841 Type B certified. The ASCENSION handled rope clamp is the standard for rope ascent in IRATA operations.
